Searching, waiting

Aimlessly, searching for the light
Holding fast in my heart the promises
On it I stand
Promises gives wind to the sail
It drives you from place to place
It takes you by the hand
It says: Walk with me and wait
It comes when time is due
Just sit tight and you’ll get through
